Join the NVC & NVC Foundation at Emerald Downs on June 18, 2023
The month of May marks the return of Thoroughbred Horseracing to the Pacific Northwest at the beautiful Emerald Downs Racetrack located in Auburn, WA. This will be the fourth year that the Seattle NVC and NVC Foundation will host an event at Emerald Downs. The program for 2023 will not only feature horse racing, but also “Indian Relay Championship Day”.
“Indian Relay” is an exhilarating mix of high-speed daring and exquisite horsemanship. Indian Relay is also a sport widely enjoyed and practiced by men and women from tribal nations across the Rocky Mountain West. The venue for the “Day at the Races” event will again be in the “Trackside Pavilion”. The Trackside Pavilion is a private outdoor space located on the track level of the racetrack. This is a great place to watch all the events and activities of the day’s racing program.
The Emerald Downs “Day at the Races” package includes an Admission Ticket, Official Race Program, Tip Sheet, Snacks, and Buffet Meal. The cost is $82.19 for Adults, $58.00 for Youth (ages 11-17), and $29 for Child (ages 5-10). There is no charge for the toddler buffet (ages 4 & under).
The Buffet Menu includes:
Snacks -- Homemade Kettle Chips/with Onion dip, Snack Mix
Appetizers -- Vegetable Tray with Hummus and Ranch Dips, Tropical Fresh Fruit Display, Emerald Green Salad with Choice of Balsamic or Italian dressings, Caesar Salad with Parmesan Croutons
Entrees -- Chicken Marsala, Beef Medallions with a Peppercorn Demi Glaze
Sides -- Fresh Fruit, Grilled Vegetables, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Rolls and Butter
Dessert -- Tiramisu, Assorted Cookies, Cheesecake Bites
Drinks -- Coffee, Tea, Water
No Host Bar -- closes a half hour prior to the last race.

2:30pm Buffet Service (one hour)
6:30pm Approx. Conclusion of Racing
General parking is free and there is a Tram that runs from the general parking area to the admission gates. Paid valet and reserved parking are also available.
All guests must have a ticket to enter the Admission Gates during live racing. This includes adults, teens, and children.
