1. PUGET SOUND SALMON FISHING TRIP FOR 2
The winning bidder and a friend will enjoy a day on Puget Sound in a 21ft Sea Swirl powered by a 150HP Yamaha 4 stroke Outboard. You will be picked up at the Edmonds Marina, and we will fish until we have retained your legal limits or until early afternoon. You will be provided high quality tackle and we know where the fish are biting! Lunch, snacks and beverages are also provided.

7. OYSTER DINNER PARTY
Dean Hoshizaki (oyster farmer) will come to your home to personally cook for you and 10-20 of your guests, 221 of the freshest oysters you will ever eat! The oysters will be prepared BBQ with toppings, raw on ice and some kaki fry, along with some extra seafood surprises!
The oysters have been slow grown for over 5-7 years, in Jasper Bay, Lopez Island. Oysters come out of the water in the morning for you to enjoy in the evening. We call these “One-Tide” oysters.

9. RAISE THE PADDLE
Welcome to the 2023 NVC Foundation Mardi Gras Gala. It has been 6 years since the NVC Foundation’s last fundraising event. The primary reason for this hiatus was due in large part to the COVID pandemic.
We all experienced a disruption in our daily lives, whether it be work related, business related, or family related. There was however one constant throughout the pandemic--building costs such as utilities, cable, and WIFI charges continued during this period.
Unfortunately, unforeseen developments have occurred in the neighborhood surrounding the NVC Memorial Hall. An increase in crime and vandalism has threatened the safety of our members, volunteers and guests who visit the hall. The situation deteriorated to the point where a security fence and an automated gate have been erected around the property and parking lot to provide safer access to our facility and protect the property from increased vandalism.
Funds raised from “Raise the Paddle” will help to offset the cost of the fence and automated gate construction. Thank you for your support.

13. YAMA JAPANESE MIZUNARA CASK WHISKEY
Bainbridge Yama Mizunara Cask Whiskey begins its journey from grain to glass in the fertile fields of Washington state's Skagit Valley where organic Full Pint and Alba barley is grown on a family farm near the saltwater confluence of the Skagit River and the Puget Sound. After harvest the barley is trucked 77 miles to Bainbridge Organic Distillers facility, where the un-malted grain is milled, mashed and fermented. After fermentation the mash is double-distilled. Cuts are made "by hand" and based on the qualities of the spirit as it flows from the still. After the second distillation the whiskey is diluted to 126.5 proof in preparation for being introduced into the virgin Mizunara casks. Bright aromatics of mango, vanilla, toasted sandalwood, tropical flowers, marzipan and star anise. Flavors open on nutmeg and clove, pear and toasty wood notes, settling out to honeyed vanilla and toasted marshmallow. Finish is warm and lingering with fading spice and a pleasant oak grip.
