JCCCW and Northwest Nikkei Museum offer a Speaker Series on the third Friday of each month at 7:00 pm via Zoom.  Join this new, monthly program and learn about Japanese American culture and history with the Northwest Nikkei Museum! On the third Friday of every month, guest speakers will cover a variety of topics and perspectives related to Japanese Americans in the Greater Seattle Area and beyond! The Wing Luke Museum hosts Hai! Japantown, featuring a Guided Japanese American Remembrance Trail Tour on Saturday, August 28, at 10 AM PDT. Join an in-person 90-minute educational urban hike through the original Japantown to kick off your Hai! Japantown experience on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 10:00AM! Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and water are advised on this tour. Please note that there are 2 routes for this tour for different accessibility levels. Advanced registration is required as spaces for the tours and listening devices to support social distancing is limited. JCCCW’s All Things Japanese Sale (ATJS) takes place on Saturday & Sunday, August 28th and 29th, 2021 from 10 AM to 4 PM at 1414 South Weller Street, Seattle, WA 98144. The ATJS is a large-scale rummage sale, packed with a wide variety of Japanese items for purchase including dolls, furniture, fans, clothing, accessories, plush toys, jewelry, books and much more. There is something for everyone with some items priced as low as $0.25! All major credit cards are accepted, as well as cash. Income generated from the event goes toward supporting the mission of the JCCCW to preserve, promote, and share Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage. No appointments necessary, but JCCW will monitor the number of people inside the sale at a time to stay within health and safety guidelines. All visitors will be required to wear masks at all times, covering your nose to your chin, while inside the JCCCW facilities during the sale for the safety of staff, volunteers, and visitors. More information: https://www.jcccw.org/all-things-japanese-sale

Japanese American Pilgrimages (JAMP) hosts TADAIMA! A Community Virtual Pilgrimage from August 29 – September 25 online.   JAMP, in partnership with the National Park Service, will co-host this second annual series of online events and programs. This pilgrimage will run continuously for four weeks, with new content provided daily. The pilgrimage is free and open to the public and will be available online. Vashon Heritage Museum sponsors the Vashon Japan Festival on Saturday, September 18, 10 am – 4 pm at Mukai Farm & Garden, 18017 107th Avenue SW, Vashon, WA 

Asian Counseling and Referral Service hosts the ACRS Virtual Gala on Saturday, October 2, 2021, 5:30 pm Pre-Show, 6 pm-7pm Program and Live Auction. Proceeds will benefit vital ACRS services and programs that reach over 30,000 people and families in our region. The event will feature the return of Culinary Journey, where ACRS partners with leading Asian and Pacific Islander chefs to showcase their talents while sharing stories of healing and transformation. Join an evening of inspiration to celebrate community and resilience. The livestream event is free to attend and includes a pre-event show, live and online auctions, and curated meal kits available for purchase. SCIDpda will hold a Virtual Fundraiser Event on Friday, October 8, 6-7 pm PST. Free to attend.
