Help The North American Post mark 120 years!

The NAP is now in the position of needing additional financial help so that it can continue operating through the year 2022 and beyond. With your help and generosity, “Friends of The North American Post” is now beginning a fundraising campaign.

Chow Mein Dinner Canceled for 2021

We have made the hard decision to cancel the Chow Mein Dinner once again due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chow Mein Dinner has been an annual event for the NVC for many years and has been an important fundraising effort for the NVC Memorial Hall.

Seattle Mariners Honor Frank Hori on AAPI Heritage Night

In a time of increasing anti-Asian hate crimes, the Seattle Mariners’ Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Night, May 27th at T-Mobile Park took on extra meaning this year. And so, it was right and just that NVC veteran Frank Hori was honored on the field for his invaluable contributions as an Army solider during World War Two.

JAVA Day of Affirmation

On July 15, 2021, at 12 noon (EST), the Japanese American Veterans Association (JAVA) will commemorate the second annual Day of Affirmation at the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC. This date marks the 75th anniversary of President Harry S. Truman’s review of the returning 442nd Regimental Combat Team (RCT) on the White House Ellipse on July 15, 1946.
