Our December Speaker Series guest speakers were State Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos (37th District) and State Senator Bob Hasegawa (11th District). Both Sharon and Bob were motivated to enter the world of politics from sharing a strong desire to be community involved and a social conscience to do the right thing.

On 28 December 2018, Tosh Tokunaga gathered with friends and family at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport as the Nisei Veterans Committee honored Tosh with a brick mounted at the SeaTac USO. Tosh is a Nisei Veteran who served in the 17th and 82nd Airborne Divisions during WWII.
