Troops Offer Thanks for sending them a Cup of Joe!

March 2018, Volume 68, Issue 3

For only $2.50 you can thank a member of the armed forces for their service with a hot, fresh cup of Green Beans Coffee and a personal message - which they reply to with a message of their own! Please help deliver 15 Minutes of Home to our Troops.

Keith Yamaguchi has been donating regularly on behalf of NVC. Here are some of the messages the NVC has received back from Troops wanting to thank you for sending them a Cup of Joe!

Thank you for your generosity! I just wanted to let you know that little gestures like these go a long way to make our life more enjoyable when deployed. Being away from my family for long periods is tough, but knowing that there are so many people supporting us back home makes it a bit easier. Thanks again!

Message from NVC to Anthony,

Not sure what time it is in your part of the world, however here in Seattle, WA it is a little after 7:00am and it is shaping up to be a great day.  Clear but very cold (35 degrees).  I do want to express my appreciation for your service to our country.  As a Vietnam veteran (68-69) I believe that our service members deserve better than what we experienced during the Vietnam era.

I do hope that an occasional cup of coffee as a way of thanking you is meaningful to you.  Stay safe and have a great day.
   Regards, Keith Yamaguchi

Just seeing this message now. It is eleven hours difference here. Thank you for your service. We do have it very good compared to Vietnam, but there is still tremendous room for improvement. You'd be surprised how much a cup of coffee can mean.

God Bless.

It is an awesome way to start the day with a good cup of coffee to remind me of home...even while busy in Afghanistan.
