COME JOIN THE NVC/ NVC FOUNDATION FOR A DAY AT THE RACES AT EMERALD DOWNS

Experience the excitement and pageantry of horse racing. This is an experience that can be shared by all age levels and is a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family. The NVC/NVC Foundation Day-at-the-Races program will include an optional breakfast at the Quarterchute Café (located in the barn area of Emerald Downs) and an exclusive tour of the barn area conducted by Vicki Potter. Vicki’s father and uncle were members of the NVC.
Vicki is a horse owner and is a partner in a horse ownership group that includes our very own Don Maekawa. Vicki and Don’s horse, Barkley, is scheduled to run on this day. Come and support Don and cheer his horse to the winner’s circle.

The View Room provides an unobstructed view of the Paddock Saddling area and the homestretch from the fourth floor of the facility. Seating is limited so don't be left out!
The menu in that room for that day is:
- Sausage Ricotta Lasagna or Chicken Parmesan
- Seasonal buttered steam vegetables
- Caesar Salad
- Fresh fruit medley
- Assorted bakery rolls & butter
- Fresh baked cookies
The package price is $41.50. This includes $27.50 for the food/beverages and $13.50 for the day at the races portion (program, tip sheet, admission, reserved premium seating, discount in the gift shop, and welcome in our official program). Tax and service fees apply to the food and beverage portion only. The total package with tax and service fees would be $49.00 per person. There is special pricing for those under age 17. Ages 11-17: $35.53 (with tax and service fees), Ages 5 -10: $17.77 (with tax and service fees), Ages 4 and under: free.
