The MIS Historic Learning Center Now Open!

San Francisco, CA -- The National Japanese American Historical Society (NJAHS) is proud to announce that the MIS Historic Learning Center is now open every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM. General Admission is $10. NJAHS members, veterans and children under 12 are Free.

The Learning Center is housed in the historic Building 640 on the San Francisco Presidio Grounds. Renovation of the structure took nearly two years. Once used as an Air Mail carrier depot and a gymnasium, in 1941 it became home for the first class of the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) Language School.
