September Nisei Lunch Program

The Nisei Lunch Program is intended to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.

The meals are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall downstairs.  Delicious meals are free to NVC and NVC Foundation members.  And, enjoy playing bingo during lunch.  Click for more details.


US Army 7th Infantry Division & Japanese Ground Self Defense Force Luncheon

The annual US Army 7th Infantry Division and Japanese Ground Self Defense Force Luncheon together with the Nisei Veterans Committee will be held on Sunday, September 8th from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at the NVC Memorial Hall in Seattle.

Veteran NVC members are encouraged to attend and share your experiences with young active duty members of the military.  Learn more...


Sep - NVC Executive Council, NVC Foundation Board and General Membership Meetings

The NVC Executive Council and NVC Foundation Board will meet at the NVC Memorial Hall in Seattle starting at 6:00 pm.  The General Membership meetings follow at 7:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend the membership meetings.

Come in time for a potluck served at 7:00 pm!


Speaker Series Special Event: Never Give Up!

NVC Foundation Speaker Series Special Event - Never Give Up! Minoru Yasui and the Fight for Justice will be presented on Saturday, September 28th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the NVC Memorial Hall.  Never Give Up! is a documentary film by Holly Yasui and narrated by George Takei.

The event is free and open to the public. Please join us!


NVC Memorial Hall - Monthly Open House

September 28, 2019

Visit the NVC Memorial Hall during our Monthly Open House.  The Open House is scheduled on the last Saturday of each month from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Visitors can go through a self-guided tour of the NVC Hall, or they can arrange for a private tour. Most tours take between 60-90 minutes. There is no fee, and they are led by volunteer docents.
