The Nisei Lunch Program is intended to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.
The meals are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall downstairs. Delicious meals are free to NVC and NVCF members. Enjoy playing bingo during lunch. Click for more details.
The Washington State House and Senate will be observing the Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, February 20th, at 10:00 AM at the Washington State Legislature building in Olympia. Following the floor resolution, lunch will be served to guests in the House Rules Room in the Legislative building.

A new documentary film, For the Sake of the Children, explores the impacts of Japanese American incarceration on detainees and their descendants. The public is invited to participate in a screening and panel discussion with Marlene Shigekawa, Masih Fouladi of CAIR-WA, and moderator Ryan Yamamoto.
This free screening will be shown at the NVC Hall in Seattle starting at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited.
