March Nisei Lunch Program

The Nisei Lunch Program is intended to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.

The meals are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall downstairs.  Delicious meals are free to NVC and NVCF members.  Enjoy playing bingo during lunch.  Click for more details.

A Day of Remembrance Program: Film, "Right of Passage"

In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the passage of Redress, the 2018 University of Washington Day of Remembrance program will feature a new documentary, Right of Passage, followed by a discussion with director/producer Janice Tanaka and co-producer Nancy Araki.  

The program will begin at 3 pm on Sunday, March 4 at the NVC Memorial Hall, 1212 South King Street in Seattle.

The event is free and open to the public!

NVC/NVCF Annual Installation Banquet

We’re VERY excited to announce this year’s Annual Installation Banquet.  The theme of this year’s banquet will be “family”.   As always, we will celebrate this year’s scholarship recipients as well as new lifetime members and the installation of new officers.

March - NVC Executive Council, NVC Foundation Board and Membership Meetings

March 30, 2018

The NVC Executive Council and NVC Foundation Board will meet at the NVC Memorial Hall in Seattle starting at 6:00 pm.  The General Membership meeting follows at 7:00 pm.  Plan to attend and meet our new 2018 leaders.

A delicious potluck is served at 7:00 pm!!!

March Speaker Series: First 90 Years of Kubota Garden

"First 90-years of Kubota Garden, 1927-2017" is the topic of the NVC Foundation's March Speaker Series.  Listen to Kubota Garden Foundation President, Joy Okazaki speak about the historical Kubota Garden located in the Rainier Beach neighborhood in Seattle.

The presentation is from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the NVC Hall in Seattle.
