The Nisei Lunch Program is designed to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to also give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.
The meal are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall in Lefty’s room (lower level). Delicious meals prepared by Terry Takeuchi and other helpers are free to NVC and NVCF members. Click for more details.
On Sunday, April 9th, the legacy of Japanese diplomat, Chiune Sugihara, “Conspiracy of Kindness: You’ve Given Me Life,” will be presented at 2:00 p.m. at the Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church, in Seattle, Washington. This is the second of three events in the series “The Holocaust and Japanese American Connections.”

"Japanese American Soldiers and the Liberation of Dachau" is about the history of the 522nd Field Artillery Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, liberators of Dachau Sub-camp. This is the final part in the series, The Holocaust and Japanese American Connections held at the NVC Memorial Hall in Seattle from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
