The Nisei Lunch Program is designed to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to also give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.
The meal are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall in Lefty’s room (lower level). Delicious meals are free to NVC and NVCF members. Click for more details.
We come together once a year -- Japan Fair 2017. This is a free two-day event held on July 8th and 9th at the Meydenbauer Center Hall in Bellevue. Hours on Saturday, July 8th run from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and on Sunday, July 9th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Japan Fair was formed in 2016 as a continuation of the legacy of the “Aki Matsuri”. This two-day program celebrates Japan’s rich cultural heritage, and features cultural, educational, and fun events for all age groups. And brings together American and Japanese organizations and businesses to engage in the promotion of education and cultural exchange.
The NVC Executive Council and NVC Foundation Board will meet at the NVC Memorial Hall in Seattle starting at 6:00 pm. The General Membership meeting follows at 7:00 pm.
