October Nisei Lunch Program

The Nisei Lunch Program is designed to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.

The meal are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall in Lefty’s room (lower level).  Delicious meals are free to NVC and NVCF members.  Click for more details.

NVC Foundation 2017 Luau

The NVC Foundation invites you to our NVC Foundation 2017 LUAU fundraiser, dinner and auction benefiting our mission:  Honoring the Past, Educating the Future. 

The luau event is at the Renton Pavilion Event Center starting at 5:00 pm and going until 9:00 pm.  Join in the fun for an exciting evening with a silent auction and live auction!

Living Well Health Fair

Keiro Northwest and Seattle JACL are hosting the 6th annual Living Well Health Fair on Saturday, October 21, at Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church in Seattle.  Healthy living for the WHOLE FAMILY!  Eat better with organic foods, test out alternative medicine, or discover a new way to deal with stress.

October - NVC Executive Council, NVC Foundation Board and Membership Meetings

The NVC Executive Council and NVC Foundation Board will meet at the NVC Memorial Hall in Seattle starting at 6:00 pm.  The General Membership meeting follows at 7:00 pm.

October Speaker Series: A Personal History of 522nd Field Artillery Battalion

This month's NVC Foundation Speaker Series presentation will be a personal recollection of Major William Perry Wright (1912-2002) on the topic:  A Personal History of 522nd Field Artillery Battalion.  The topic will recount Major Wright's experiences while serving with the famed 442nd Regimental Combat Team, from Camp Shelby, through Italy, France and Germany.

We have a new time from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the NVC Hall in Seattle.  This is a free event for all to enjoy.  Plan to attend!
