End of Summer Gathering

All NVC and NVC Foundation members are invited to an End of Summer Gathering on Saturday, September 1st from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  This event will take the place of the July Cookout.  The cost will be $10.00 per person with children under 10 free.

September Nisei Lunch Program

The Nisei Lunch Program is intended to serve Nisei members of the NVC and NVC Foundation a hot lunch once a month and to give our Nisei members an opportunity to interact with one another in a casual, social setting.

The meals are served on the first Friday of the month at the NVC Memorial Hall downstairs.  Delicious meals are free to NVC and NVCF members.  Enjoy playing bingo during lunch.  Click for more details.

Beyond Reconciliation Celebrate Japan-US Alliance and Honor Nisei Veterans

September 09, 2018

The 6th annual Japan Ground Self Defense Force luncheon with the 7th Infantry Division, United States Army will be held on Sunday, September 9th from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at the NVC Memorial Hall.  Please join the NVC in the event Beyond Reconciliation Celebrate Japan-US Alliance and Honor Nisei Veterans.

The NVC invites all NVC and NVC Foundation members, family and friends to this free event.  Lunch will be provided, but space is limited.  Registration is required!  Click above for more details.

The NVC Executive Council and NVC Foundation Board meetings start at 6:00 pm.  Everyone is invited to attend the General Membership meeting that follows at 7:00 pm.

September Speaker Series: Lori Matsukawa - Backstory: Prisoners in Their Own Land

NVC Foundation Speaker Series presents Backstory: Prisoners in Their Own Land.  The Emmy-winning KING 5 news series on the WWII Incarceration will be presented by Lori Matsukawa.   Plan to be at the NVC Hall on September 29th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

All Speaker Series events are open and free to the public.
